In the morning, we continued our exploration of Lofoten by heading to Henningsvær fishing village, known for its iconic football pitch surrounded by the sea and rows of cod-drying racks. This unique location is worth a visit while in Lofoten.

Next, we made our way to Kiruna and our cottage for the night, Northern lights Cabin with Reindeers. The cottage was both stunning and comfortable, featuring a glass roof. However, the only facilities available were an outdoor dry toilet and shower located in the sauna. Fortunately, the owner was very kind and offered us the use of the guest house next to the cottage, which had a private bathroom and was currently unoccupied.
Adjacent to the cottage, there were several reindeer, including a baby, who followed us as we made our way to the sauna. Later, even the larger reindeer came to investigate if he could join us in the sauna. We loved our stay in the cottage, but we also noticed that there was a lot of room for improvement in the area. However, as we were some of the first guests, we’re sure that the accommodation has improved a lot since our visit.
